How is Palmer different from Claude Cowork?

Same kind of desktop agent: long tasks, your files, a visible browser, apps it builds for you. Palmer runs on your Mac or PC, lets you pick from open-weight and frontier models, and lets owners decide which team uses which. There is a free tier.

Which models can I use?

DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM and MiniMax today, plus GPT and Claude when you need them. Free runs on DeepSeek. Team unlocks them all. More are added as they ship.

Does my data leave my machine?

Your files stay on your machine. Palmer sends only the context a task needs, through Palmer's API, to the model you picked. It asks before reading a new folder or running a risky command.

Can teams control spend?

Yes. Owners group models by capability and cost and assign a group to each team. Credits are metered per member. Team is $20 per seat per month with 4,000 credits per seat.
